Between 2020 and 2024, the brand concept was taken to Germany and the UK, where it continued to evolve through new experiences and inspirations, before being officially relaunched in 2025. From flowers illuminated by the sunshine after an August summer rain to the geometric brushstrokes created by artists in their studios, SUZY ROOM creates a scene that sparks the imagination for every product. Inspired by 90s Windows drawing tools, I created intentionally imperfect, hand-drawn icons before bringing them into Figma, allowing the graphics to retain a sense of spontaneity and process. After extensive research into the brand, I chose an illustration style that best reflected its DNA. Angus Chiang has always described the brand as a park, so I transformed the pop- up book into a park guide, inviting visitors to explore the brand's ten-year journey by turning each page. Each spread represents a different aspect of the brand. Page 1 introduces the overall landscape; Page 2 features a fountain representing the eleven main fashion collections; Page 3 presents the theme of each season; Page 4 uses a seesaw to represent the brand's collaborations; and Page 5 uses a sandbox to represent its charity initiatives. The visual language was further extended across the anniversary auction, including auction paddles, certificates of authenticity, beer glasses, chairs and other event materials, creating a cohesive visual identity throughout the event. The project was presented at the 2026 Taipei Art Book Fair 2025-2026Angus Chiang 品牌十周年立体书 &amp;装置 受時裝品牌 Angus Chiang 委託，我為品牌十週年慶典設計了一件高達兩米的互動立體書裝置，並同步設計了可收藏的迷你立體書。 在對品牌進行深入研究後，我選擇了一種最能體現其品牌 DNA 的插畫風格。Angus Chiang 一直將品牌形容為一座「公園」，因此我將這本立體書轉化為一本公園導覽手冊，邀請觀眾透過逐頁翻閱，探索品牌過去十年的發展歷程。每一跨頁分別呈現品牌的不同面向：第一頁展現公園的整體景觀；第二頁以噴泉代表品牌十一季主要時裝系列；第三頁呈現每一季的主題；第四頁以蹺蹺板象徵品牌歷年來的跨界合作；第五頁則以沙池代表品牌參與的公益項目。 designed the record cover and poster for the local band Yingmay Supermarket in Macau. In the concept of traditional Chinese medicine, there is the concept of ‘internal heat’. It means that when you eat too much fried food, you can get acne, red eyes, and bad temper etc. The song 食薯條熱氣睇西醫無用 tells the story of a person who loves to eat fries is suffering from the ‘internal heat’. He received anti-inflammatory medication from a Western medical clinic, but the effects were short-lived. He then realized that if he wanted to treat the heat from the root, he needed the help of traditional Chinese medicine. This song is very simple and humorous, so in the design, So I also used a very direct approach in design, deconstructing the content of the song. Tell the whole story directly and visually. I also incorporated many elements of a traditional herbal tea shop into the visual. For example, they always have a gourd-shaped herbal tea container. I was delighted to be invited by the Macau Poster Association and the Macau Performers Association to design the record cover and poster for the local band Yingmay Supermarket on the 25th anniversary of Macau’s return to China. and participated in the Feel Macau 2024 poster exhibition. The work was eventually exhibited at the casino Lisboeta Macau. Supermarket「食薯條熱氣睇西醫無用」一曲以搞笑、喜劇的方式講述一位愛吃薯條之人，飽受熱氣的煎熬。從西醫診所取得消炎藥治療，但藥效短暫，治標不治本。驚覺若要從根源治療熱氣，需要靠中醫的幫助。 這首歌簡單幽默，所以設計上我也使用非常直接的方式，將歌曲內容結構，從視覺上把這個故事講出來。我還融合了許多傳統的涼茶舖的元素進入畫面中，例如他們總是會有一個葫蘆形狀的涼茶罐。 Suzy Chan I created the visual for It’s Nice That’s new article “Can you smell design?”The article explores how perfume brands build the entire perfume branding world through graphic design (by using form, colour, typography, and art direction), and how the perfume industry uses design to express invisible smells. So my entire design is basically a designer’s backstage work board, showing these elements that build perfume design.One of the inspirations for this project came from a Chinese historical drama “My Fair Princess(還珠格格)” that was very popular in my childhood (a bit nostalgic..), in which there is a Sweet Princess call 香妃, who exudes a magical fragrance, causing her appearance to always be accompanied by a group of butterflies, making it easy for the emperor to find her and force her to become his concubine. Although this is a sad story of decadent feudalism . They speak multiple languages (Malay, English, Chinese and Hindi) and have three major races (Malays, Chinese and Indians).Motoguo is famous for its nostalgic design. In this season, they decided to make a mellow and sleepy collection——The Art of Letting Go. The inspiration comes from the fact that the founders of Motoguo @guomoto @a_kinder_a_day never had a good sleep after founding the brand😴 It made them very nostalgic for their childhood, even when they had narcolepsy and used to leaked urine💧(you can see some drops and pacifiers in the posters and on the products) and dream a lot.In Asian cultures, especially Chinese culture, people believe that things in dreams often foretell a certain direction in future life. For example, one of the interpretations of dreaming about snakes🐍is that you will get rich soon💰Dreams are often associated with superstition; after waking from a dream, some people will seek Master Zhou to interpret their dreams. It’s called 周公解夢The multicultural background always leads us to have too many stories to tell. I feel the same way with motoguo, so I decided to help them directly express this mixed feeling through visuals. the identity of "Shades of Intelligence" for It's Nice That. “Shades of Intelligence” is a new series investigating the creative industry’s growing relationship with AI.In this commission, I imagined the application of AI in the creative industry like a growing child learning to speak, trying hard to learn to adapt to human language and be used by creative people. So I used a lot of elements that would appear when learning a new language, such as flashcards, spelling games, etc. This is a series of articles well worth reading. The visual process was also very enjoyable. Because AI is an existence without a fixed form, in my vision, I mainly rely on dialogue to express the existence of AI.
