“Unweave a Rainbow” Exhibition Visual Identity

This is a group exhibition of MadeIn Gallery in 2024. The name "Unweave a Rainbow" used by the curator expresses how young artists use different media and artistic languages to extract, capture, and condense results, and in the reconstruction of the momentary perception, arouse the audience's resonance and reflection on the moment. The contents expressed by the four female artists participating in the exhibition are all related to life and intimate relationships. For example, Wang Xin gained a new understanding of life from her father's death and her experience in her hometown; for example, Mei Ruowen's works are full of critical reflections on gender relations under patriarchy.

In my understanding, the rainbow is just a metaphor. This exhibition is more about expressing the process of deconstruction and reconstruction. So my concept is to start directly from the very visual name "Unweave a Rainbow". Emphasize "Unweave"; and directly express this feeling of breaking reconstruction through the deconstruction of fonts and shapes and the layout of the visual.

《拆开彩虹》 展览視覺識別

這是 MadeIn Gallery 在 2024 年的一個群展。策展人以《拆開彩虹》作為展覽名稱，想表達年輕藝術家如何透過不同媒介和藝術語言，去提取、捕捉並凝聚感受與結果，再在對瞬間感知的重新組構之中，引發觀眾對當下的共鳴與思考。

參展的四位女性藝術家，作品內容都和生命經驗以及親密關係有關。比如王欣從父親的離世，以及回到家鄉的經歷中，重新理解生命；
比如左牵羊的作品則帶有對父權結構下性別關係的批判與反思。

在我的理解裡，「彩虹」其實更像是一個隱喻。這個展覽真正想談的，是一個拆解、再重新組構的過程。所以我的視覺概念直接從《拆開彩虹》這個本身就很有畫面感的名字出發，並把重點放在「拆開」上。透過字體、形狀和版面的拆解與重組，去直接表達這種被打散、再重新建立起來的感覺。
